About Dori Csengeri
Dori Csengeri is an award winning, internationally acclaimed artist. Her unique
jewelry is impeccably hand sewn at her Tel Aviv studio She embroiders each piece
using a unique ancestral technique of needlework with silky cotton cords. Dori's
intriguing designs are born from her love of color and the long tradition of hand
embroidery and textile design. Her pieces are inset with artful cabochons, fine stones,
crystals,bohemian beads, shell,wood or metal and leather-
Dori is a textile designer by profession. She is a graduate of the Shenkar College
of Fashion in Tel Aviv. She specialized in fabric design at Tootel Fabrics in Manchester,
England and at Cyril Kowalewsky's Paris studio. She also studied Art History at
