Josh Hershman is a mixed media artist who primarily works with kiln cast glass and photography. Hershman was introduced to glass in high school in 1997. He continued his studies at Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada receiving a Diploma in 2004, with a concentration in glass. He went on to earn a BFA with distinction from the California College of the Arts in Oakland in 2008. He has exhibited his sculptures internationally and received numerous awards for his artworks. Over the past ten years, Josh has worked closely with several internationally recognized artists, and has begun to include materials such as found objects, photographs, magnets, holograms, and video projections into his most recent sculptures. In 2009, Josh completed a two month kiln casting residency at North Lands Creative Glass in Lybster, Scotland. Currently, his work was included in the e-merge 2010 international glass competiton and is the resident artist and teacher at D&L Art Glass Supply in Denver, Colorado
